I had such a blast this weekend!

Saturday:
Went to Queen Vic Market with The Gang (a term used by mummy for this group of people), and then left halfway to meet Sophie, my CFI presentation partner. We went to the Royal Botanic Gardens to do out project! haha. It's quite cool.. Our theme was on Space. So, here's what we did:
I improvised(dance) to music in the space marked out in garden. She then watched me, and improvised(paint) to my dancing in the space of her 4m long canvas. We repeated this 3 times where the canvas was horizontal, vertical, then horizontal but with white ink instead. The end product was WOW. haha. I didn't expect it to look so interesting! haha.. it was real cool=) Terrie Fraser BETTER give us a good mark for this!!!
Anyway, i trammed down to safeway to get some stuff, then dropped them at home, had a super express lunch of leftover chicken soup, then dashed off to church at 3pm. Why so early? Ven Xhin was giving me an orientation for joining the Production Team of Richmond (Bridge Church)! It was SO COOL. For almost all my life, I've never been able to do backstage work. I'm always at the forefront, always performing, always never knowing what it was like to be part of the production team. Well I had an interesting first experience - it's very nerve-wrecking! Cueperson, Paul, was giving orders to standby when going live for each section.. The producer, Dave, was giving orders to Paul and the lighting and sound people, it was MAD. hahah. Ven Xhin was just sitting next to me telling me to stay calm hahha!! She just supervised me while I handled worship and altar call. SCARY STUFF. Now I appreciate the efficiency and smoothness of transitions from song lyrics to church news vid, to sermon verse, to everything else. HAHAH. I got warned though for letting my mouse cursor wander onto the main screen=P OOOOPS... Anyway, had a debriefing after that. I received a water bottle! hahah. Production team bottle eh? HAHAH. no la cos there was a box of water there..

Trammed down to Joel's place for Steak Night! haha.. Lois, Joel, Davin, Phy, Deon. Lois spammed my steak with ALOT ALOT ALOT of pepper HAHAHAH! but it was good=))) hahah and my steak was SO SOFT MAN! hahah.. Credit goes to the chef - Tanster. HAHA! Well done! We then played this game where you sing the lyrics of a random book, but to the tune of a song. Then the rest had to guess what the song was. hahah... it was FUNNY. They took a video of Davin singing away=) HAHAH!

Sunday:
We (the gang) went to Planetshakers church today! haha.. I must say, it's so much louder than richmond.. Sermon was interesting. Title was The 7 Senses. Ps Rob was talking about how the 7 senses are used to connect with God in a way.. like seeing visions, hearing the voice of God, smelling the fragrance of the Holy Spirit, being touched by God and laying hands, taste (oh taste and see that the Lord is good.... though I still don't get how we can taste God.), being in balance where being out of balance will result in us falling, and the supernatural sense(which is self-explanatory). yea... As Joel said, it wasn't taking an exegesis. It was taking a theme and pulling verses in to support your sermon. oh well=) Worship after the sermon was good though.. The pastor challenged us to seek God, to hear his voice, be touched and refreshed by God, and just to experience him. It was really really good, but I think it shouldn't be something that i do only when a pastor makes time for it. I should be doing it everyday, seeking him and soaking in his presence every single day..God is omnipresent, so he can be in my room with me every night as I talk to him=)

After church, we went to Red Ants for lunch, then headed to DFO!!!!!!!! WOOOHHOOO!!!! hahaha! The guys were looking for trench coats, and the girls.. well I don't really know because I
was with Davin and Joel at first haha.. Looking for guy coats is actually quite alot of fun! hahah...
Well, met the girls, then we went to Max Power.. I bought a pinkish purple checked jacket with a furry hoodie!!! 89 bucks hahah.. not bad for a jacket like that.. Lois bought a checked long coat, Lois bought a black coat, black boots, and..what else did she buy? she bought alot. HAHA. Joel bought a black coat and a scarf! HAHA... Poor thing davin didn't find anything he liked.. We spent SO MUCH TIME THERE. haha... Lois was fussing over Phy, while I helped Joel haha.. That guy ah.. TAKE SO LONG TO DECIDE HAHAHAHAHHA!!!! It's really funny though, watch him deliberate which coat he should get.. LOL. Everyone was giving different opinions so the more opinions he got, the more he couldn't decide HAHA. But i'm glad he chose this black coat with cool button-ish hook-ish thing. HAHA. i don't even know what it's called. But yea.. it looked GOOD. hahah=) and Joel, though I liked the other jacket, I'm glad you chose this one! hahah! At least it's something YOU like=))) and it does look cool.. hahah...=D

I must admit that shopping is really tiring! I was wiped out when I got home... cooked dinner, talked to people online, and then now I'm blogging. haha. I shall go bathe, then study abit. HEHE. That's my PLAN. what I'm SUPPOSED to do with the rest of the night. We'll see how it goes=)
