Today I had a terrifying yet amazing experience. Ironic isn't it? Anyway, i woke up at 6:50am today, and got the shock of my life. haha. I was out of the house by 7am, and mummy told me to take a taxi to school. However, all the taxis that passed by were either "busy" or "hired"..I was seriously a nervous wreck at that moment. At 7:10am, a taxi pulled up at the curb and wanted to pick up a girl standing 10m infront of me, but suddenly started driving again. I flagged it and clambered into the taxi, relieved yet anxious..I knew i was going to be late for sure. How on earth could I get to school in 10 mins?! Even then, there was the heavy traffic to consider. I was praying in the taxi, asking God to let me get to school before the gate closed. Surprisingly, the traffic was smooth, atypical at a peak hour. The taxi just cruised pass the traffic lights, along the near-empty road... At last, the taxi stopped outside my school. It was 7:20am. The gate had not closed yet, & there were still many cars streaming into school. I paid the taxi driver, and walked into the school compound. Just at that moment, I heard the assembly music play. I can't tell you how much I thank God for showing me mercy man! He really tested my faith today, to trust him to get me to school on time. Thank you God!
