this last one was in Australia....yup. same pose as cameron huh...hah.
I know i haven't blogged for a million years, so by Aaron's request, I'm FINALLY updating it.
Cebu was REALLY FUN AND GREAT. Definitely an eye-opener(sounds so cliche but it's true). Where in Singapore do you find people digging through the dumpsite for their next meal or for their daily pay? No where! Where in Singapore do you find people so easily contented with life? How bout where people appreciate you just for going to visit them? Next, where in the entire Singapore, do you find wheatgrass-coloured water? The corals to dance on? The stench of the streets? The widespread hunger? The love they've shown us? The hospitality they've displayed? All these I KNOW I cannot find in Singapore (well majority of them at least). Really enjoyed the RnR too where we jet ski-ed, ate sea urchins, touched poisonous starfishes, explode long slimy sea creatures, and got a real bad sun burn. haha. But it was all worth it. I enjoyed every moment:)
Next, mid years! ok this is what most people expect me to say:" It was fine. Some subjects were a little difficult, but on the whole, it was do-able.". Sorry to say, that's not what happened. I'd be really blessed if I didn't fail 3 subjects or more, 2 of which would probably be Chem and Chinese. Then again, I can't tell the future, so it all still remains a mystery.
Right now, Laura's playing a chinese song, and it makes me feel kinda emo cos i have completely no idea what the song is talking about..therefore my mind puts its own words and meanings into the song. LOL. The mind. tsk.
Some things in life I just don't seem to understand. No matter how hard I try analyse and break them down into tiny bite-sized pieces, I'm always left hanging helplessly, in a whirlpool of emotions, not knowing what will happen next. The feeling's exciting yet dismal, blissful yet depressing. I told you it's a whirlpool, all mixed up.
oh my
God what do i do?
dance those blues away...
