OK I'M BLOGGING... HAPPY??????

hahah.. well I've got loads to talk about anyway..
(ok I wanted to post pictures, but STUPID flinders internet REFUSES to allow this.. what the mouse)

OK so no pictures.. TOO BAD.

First up, exams are FINALLY over! hahaha... rubbing it in for everyone else in Melb U eh? HAHAHHA. But everything went well la.. not optimal performance, but good enough I think=) Oh and I've got back my anatomy results - I did well=) Praise God!

Next, let's talk about.. today.. hahahha. Well today's service was good! haha. Was on duty doing multimedia and words. STRESSSSSS!!! I love working with the mixer.. so fun! hahaha.. ok so I'm glad everything came out on time. I did screw up once or twice here and there, but hopefully no one noticed=P hahah.. Paul and Dave just feedbacked to me later on that my transition from countdown vid to cameras was bit too slow.. HAHA. ooops=P ok Hannah, faster next time!

Birth Rights of Being A Child of God.
1) You Know You Are Loved
- Romans 8:15-16
- Galations 4:6 'Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." '
eg. at birth, the baby doesn't deserve to be loved. In fact, it should be spanked because of all the trouble it caused during the past 9 months. However, once it is born, the parents love the baby UNCONDITIONALLY. The baby didn't earn the love of the parents, but still love was freely given to it. Same with us - we didn't deserve to be loved, but God loves us anyway. We can NEVER earn God's love.

2)Peace of God
- Romans 5:1 "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ"
- Philippians 4: 6-7
- Isaiah 26:3 "You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you."
- John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."


Analogy used was "Carols by Candlelight" where a Silent Night video always shows a baby sleeping soundly at the line which says "..sleep in heavenly peace..". This baby did not have to worry about credit card bills, mortgages, teenage kids etc. because the baby was in perfect peace. Likewise, we should rest in the perfect peace of God.

3)Joy
- Romans 14:17 "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit," - this is what God wants us to do
- God's joy is "accessed". It is deposited at birth. For eg, babies didn't learn how to laugh - it was already in them to be capable of laughing. We too have the capabilities of feeling joyful.
-How to find joy? PRAISE GOD.

4)Strength & Power of His Spirit in your life
-every baby is born with the strength to grow and walk
- Colossians 1:26-27
- Romans 8:9-11 "...Spirit of God lives in you.."
Analogy used: car's turbo engine - tap more power and strength from God.
Something may be too dificult for us to overcome / conquer/ accomplish, but with God ALL things are possible. God will give you the strength & power of the Holy Spirit to do it!

SO... that's it for the sermon notes I took! hahahha..

all right.. so let's talk about the rest of my exciting day..
SO.. after service, my cell grp WALKED to Ying Thai to celebrate Cindy's 21st birthday. By the time we reached, everyone was pretty much dead and hungry except VenXhin. Ordered Pad Thai! hahah. Our cell group is SCANDALOUS. HAHHAHA. super alot of scandals. HAHA!
So, after lunch, we (everyone except Cindy and QiFa) all ran for the tram..well at least that's what I think we were running for..

At the tram stop, I got a NICE BIG HUG from mel! hahhahaha! she's so cute la...:)

ok so trammed back to CBD, and waited at Bourke for a certain someone.. haha! BUT, there was this RIDICULOUS PROTEST. Indians protesting against racism against them in light of the recent attacks on Indian students. They friggin blocked the whole swanston street!!! Anyway, tanster still made it down, and we trammed to Docklands(after much walking between Collins and Flinders, then back up, in an attempt to reduce our waiting time). Went to Harbourtown first.. haha it's a really cool shopping centre! Walked and looked around, and bought a jumper each! hahahha. he bought a black one, and i bought a dark purple one.. YAY! haha it's SO WARM!
So, after that we went on a treasure hunt to try to find the toilet first. After we completed that task, we went on searching for Fish Bar. Found it, and the search was worth it. hahah. The chips were so nice! so was the fish la, but we both agreed that the chips were G-O-O-D. hahah. After dinner, we walked along NewQuay Promenade to watch the Ignite@Docklands performances.. I forgot the names of the artistes, but the performances were COOL!!! Percussions, light-covered men walking around, and even a shadow puppet show that was SO AWESOME. We talked alot.. hhahha.. over dinner about predestination, and while waiting for the performances.. Tanster, you're turning me into a talker! hahahha=) not bad not bad.. hahah!
We trammed back, and nearly froze into human popsicles while waiting for the tram.. Got on the WARM tram, and headed back to my place, where we had HOT milo hahah..

All in all, I really thoroughly enjoyed myself today=)
